Chamelaucium, 2018

Pseudo (2018) is a commentary on our evolving media landscape and the new rules of journalistic engagement. Still lifes of common houseplants are presented like specimens with technical accuracy, but each successive layer looks slightly less authentic with bits carved out or replaced and re-photographed. Weaving the “real” and “fake” versions into a confusing montage, the series perverts the conventions of botanical illustrations, like a distorted atlas of our ecosystem.

All editions from the Pseudo series are priced in tiers, increasing as they sell out. Prices include framing.

These limited edition pieces include a Certificate of Authenticity signed and numbered by the artist.

Frame are custom colored to match prints and finished with Tru Vue Museum Glass. Other colors are available by request.
