  • Cosmic surgery (2014-2017) is imagined as a medical procedure that people can choose in the not so distant future for aesthetic enhancement, mood alteration, and to thwart increasingly pervasive methods of surveillance. Combining photography with collage and origami, Haser's playfully odd portraits consider the link between identity and image in a culture of visual bombardment. She suggests a fundamental shift in the way we understand ourselves and the world around us, picturing the possibility of a trans-humanist future.

    Cosmic Surgery has three components: 2D portraits, 3D portraits, and free standing paper sculptures. All editions are priced in tiers, increasing as they sell out.

  • Digital pigment print

    Edition of 10, plus 1 artist proof

    This limited edition print is produced with archival pigments on fine art textured paper (Somerset Photo Fine Art, Hahnemühle Museum Etching). It includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed and numbered by the artist.

  • Prints from this series are loose or mounted to mat board. Frames are white wood and plexiglass. Estimates for custom frames can be provided by request.

  • Turnaround times for pieces from the Cosmic Surgery series are generally 6-8 weeks, unless they are presently in our inventory.
